  9. UDF stands for Universal Data Format.

  11. This a try for a new archiving format. Detailed information can be
  12. found in the guide inside the archive. The main features of this
  13. format are:
  14.  
  15. - easy of use
  16. - fast, small and efficient
  17. - handles hierarchical tree
  18. - easy searching functions
  19. - simple custom and XPK encryption/compression routines may be applied
  20.   automatially to each data chunk independently
  21. - did I say it is fast, small and efficient? 8)

  23. The archive contains the E module compiled with CreativE v2.10+ which
  24. is needed in order to link udf module to other executable.

  26. Two simple programs to create and restore a hierarchical tree of data
  27. are provided. They may be freerly modified to see how simple it is to
  28. create really complex trees and how simple it is to handle them
  29. through UDF.
